We have a roku player for on of our bedroom tvs but i wanted something simple for my 3 year olds room that she could use the remote and not have to worry about her pressing a bunch of buttons. I was referred to this tv by a close friend and i absolutely love it! i was able to set everything up very quickly and i can control it from my phone as well! high tech yet simple enough that a 3 year old can understand and control! i love the fact that it starts up wishing about 5 seconds and i can remove any of the apps that i don't want my daughter getting into and change the background as well! it's the perfect size for her and was packaged very well.

We've had this tv for at least 6 months with no problems. It's very clear and vivid, has many settings so you can make it less clear and vivid if you like, and has roku built in which is extra awesome. The reason for only 4 stars is the sound and the captions. Sound: for tv show watching it is fine, but for movies it can be very difficult to hear unless you really crank it up. I have yet to find a setting for what seems to be smart sound. It lowers the sound when the movie gets louder, but you don't really want that in a movie. At least, you want the option to adjust what you hear when. Captions: you have the ability to use coaxial, hdmi, or both for your cable viewing and you can choose which one you want use to watch, but you only get captions when using the coaxial. Coaxial looks like old school 90s tv and hdmi looks like sweet hd. I know this is an issue for many new tvs, but to me it is unacceptable. Other than those 2 issues i love this tv. -Notice from R. We have been using this tv for over a month now and are so impressed. The clarity, the functionality is amazing. I'll admit i was a little leary about ordering a no name tv online, but after thinking about buying a name brand brand tv then shelling out another $100 plus for a roku, it did not seem smart. The best thing about this tv is that it is mounted on our kitchen wall and there are no extra wires hanging. If we had purchased a roku we would have to deal with the issue of wear to put the roku and wires. The set up was easy peasy, the functions are very user friendly, we are able to not only stream all our favorites but we can stream our cable through it and watch regular tv. Over all i give this tv an a+, we are even thinking about purchasing one more. Great tv

When i turned it on via remote, i quickly discovered that the tv had arrived broken. The display was damaged and i had to return the tv and wait for a replacement. I'll update this review when i receive a working tv. . Edit after receiving the replacement tv, i am changing my review to a 4 star. The tv was easy to set up, and adding channels was fairly straightforward. The picture is great quality, sharp contrasts and brilliant colors. I only gave this a 4 star because of the remote design. The volume buttons on the side are awkward and often result in hitting a wrong button on the remote, causing the tv jump to another channel or the options menu.

I've had this system mounted in our bedroom for about a year. Everything on it works, and we enjoy all of the features. I would have put 5 stars, but the sound system is subpar. But. Don't need that in the bedroom.

Great tv for the price, however, you can't get a universal remote to work with it, i've tried three different brands, including a learning remote, and could not get any of them to recognize this tv, nor did they list any codes for this brand. So i am stuck with having to use three different remotes which is a pain. I will not buy this brand again, because of that reason. No support from company, nor can you buy a oem remote separately anywhere including from them. If not a major concern of yours, buy this tv, perfect in every other way. Picture was perfect right out of box, sound is great as well, and lots of connection options.

Fantastic value! i am thinking since this is a fairly new company they are going to go the extra mile in quality to build a name. I hope it equates to a long life for this tv. The picture is as good as any other 1080pi flat screen i have seen. As with most flatscreens the speakers are about as bad as they get. Sounds like people talking in a tin can. Almost makes you laugh. I knew that already so i am just making note of it. If you are going to buy a bargain flatscreen don't expect to have good speakers. Online store did a great job of repackaging the already well packaged tv. Which is good because the outer box was pretty banged up and torn. Not online store's fault but rather fedex employees who handle it during shipping. My husband bought me this t. V. For christmas. I absolutely love it! . . I wanted one a bit smaller so there would be more room on my dresser top. My husband told me that this was really the smallest size i wanted if i wanted to watch from the bed. He was right! . . This t. V. Has a plug in for everything! i can even plug my laptop in and stream online store videos! since online store is soo stupid about devices it has a video app for. . This is my first hd flat screen and i'm ok with it. To me hd makes everything look like a kid has a camcorder and is playing it back on the t. V. Lol. I like the sd setting. . This is just a great t. V. I really enjoy it and glad my husband got it for me.

- N. EleanorThis works especially well for my situation. I live in a studio apartment, and i don't need a big tv. The sound is acceptable for the small space i live in, as well. The other pro is that it can later be used as a computer monitor when i am done using it solely as a tv. . I agree that the sound isn't as amazing as more expensive tv's, but that's partly why the other tv's are more expensive. If you want better sound with this tv/monitor, buy a good sound system to plug in to. The sound works for me. There was one time i had to turn this tv off and back on to reset the audio. For some reason it didn't work, but that error could have also been caused by the source of the audio. I don't care, it works. . I do not recommend the wall mount that is "frequently bought" with this product. It might not last long. . It is more of a monitor than a tv. What i mean is, you can't see the screen as vividly from the side like you can with bigger, better screens.

Haven't had any issues with the tv so far, and while the sound (as mentioned in other reviews) isn't crazy great, you do have to keep in mind that you are getting such a good price on it because of this. It's not bad sound, but not as loud as my other tvs. By and far, worth the price, and even if you have to purchase an external soundbar (we have not) it would still be worth it. Nice, clear picture and absolutely no issues after over 3 months of use and counting! not to mention, easy setup- we had it up and working about 10 minutes out of the box (and i consider myself partially technologically challenged haha). While the hdmi ports are in kind of an inconvenient spot, it's really a non-issue that i'm just being sort of nitpicky about. Was originally looking at bigger name brands and came across this, definitely glad i did! used for gaming (ps4/ps3/xbox 360/wii), regular cable, and chromecast, and have had no noticeable variance in picture quality between any of these. . Tl; dr- great tv for the price. If you're thinking about buying this tv, just do it. :)

I think this was a great first attempt at smart tv technology for me. I'm desperately trying to unhook myself from cable tv and find an alternative. I'd hoped that with a built-in web browser i'd be able to watch shows on those "certain sites" where you can see almost anything. Unfortunately, the web browser is kind of crappy. It's kind of awkward and hard to control. You cannot download another os like firefox which is my browser of choice. I'm unable to use add-ons which make browsing the internet much more pleasant and safer. Only the new panasonics have the firefox browser and they are crazy expensive. The tv comes with access to a number of apps. The standard - netflix, hulu, online store and youtube. Many of the apps were just stupid and unecessary - dominoes? facebook? please. There are also a number of other apps that seem promising. I won't go through them all here - but many of them were also disappointing. For example, dotdance never loaded. Urbanpix had placeholders and no content. (and a review of their content online was dismal) creepster and world worth watching are great if you're 80 and want to watch old movies from the 30's, 40's, and 50's (plan 9 from outerspace and reefer madness anyone). Cinemanow has first run movies and kind of current tv shows but for fees that rival cable tv; not gonna do that! the museum channel seemed really promising, but you have to go to the website and sign up. Well they want money, but in euros and the amount is unclear. Not doing it. If they get back to me with what their actual yearly/monthly subscription rate is in us dollars i'll consider it because their content gives you a short preview and it looks extensive and awesome. I have been using milkmusic which i like a great deal. Unfortunately, there's chatter on the internet it may be discontinued which is disappointing. And my favorite app, tubitv has some decent content, doesn't cost anything - but is a bit glitchy and freezes. There are individual local news channel apps and a number of cooking and crafting apps i've still yet to explore. So, i wouldn't throw out my cable box just yet. I'm going to get a roku box for this tv and see if that will be sufficient for my viewing needs.

I was a little skeptical about making such a large purchase without actually seeing it in person. The reviews i read had me wondering if my netflix would even function properly. However, i purchased it from online store and it arrived three days before it was even scheduled to! i pulled it out and hooked it to the stand with no issues. I turned it on, it hooked instantly to my wifi. The only issue i had was netflix, hulu, and other apps kept saying "updating, please try again later" but i didn't see a progress bar anywhere. After about 45 minutes i called support to see how long it takes for those apps to update. The service rep was super friendly (and spoke english, huge plus)! he told me that sometimes when you first get your tv rolling, it takes the representative to give it that extra boost it needs to get those apps installed. Once he got it going, it took a minute at the most for all the apps to download & update. Customer support was 5 stars! . . All of my apps work beautifully. No buffering, no problems what so ever! the picture is amazing (this is the first hd tv i've ever had and what a difference ! the sound is fine, i may purchase a sound bar for movie nights but the speakers by themselves are definitely doable. Screen quality is great, and samsung smart tvs are all very easy to set up and use. The tv was delivered in just the original samsung packaging which has styrofoam molds inside to protect the tv. I received mine in working condition. Also, the plastic feet work well so no need to worry about those. They're plastic, but they're still pretty strong as long as you don't deliberately try to break them. I knocked off a star only because of the sound quality. Its not unbearably bad, but its not great either. . Tldr: the tv is awesome, and i would buy it again.

This samsung turns on faster than any of my (other brand name) tv's and navigating through the tv is like a breeze. The tv is set up within a few minutes, very lightweight (lighter than my tv wallmount), great bargain price, picture quality is amazing, the app and surfing the internet is flawless. The only complaint i have is the connection between my ipad and tv when streaming youtube video's. It seems to go slow sometimes but i'v noticed the same problem with some of my other smart tv's. Definitely would purchase this product through online store again!

First off, the online store reviews system is very confusing. When i click on a product i find the reviews at the bottom on an entirely different product than what i clicked on. This review is for the samsung un43j5200 43-inch 1080p smart led tv. I am not sure what problems other reviewers had, but i am ocd and this is a great tv. I placed it in the bedroom and found the sound to be very good along with the picture to be above standard. The internet is quick and i can switch from cable to netflix very quickly. . The only flaw i could find is that the mounting screws do not come with the tv, so order them online from online store for 5 dollars. The proper size is m8. I would recommend the 30mm. . Stop looking and buy this tv!
